Covid 19 Procedures

Clinic Procedures

Village Chiropractic Clinic has always and will continue to follow all guidance and legislation provided to us by the British Chiropractic Association and Public Health England. We are able to see all patients and will take every precaution to ensure your safety and wellbeing whilst you are in the clinic.

We are continuously reviewing our risk assessments to keep all our patients and staff safe. These measures include asking all patients to wear face masks (unless medically exempt) for the duration of your appointment, asking you to wait in the car when you arrive, to keep 2m away from other patients, asking you to use hand sanitiser on arrival and answering all screening questions honestly and accurately. We rigorously clean all areas in-between patients and we will ensure that there is only one patient at a time in the clinic building. All staff are asked to complete and have a negative lateral flow test before they start their working day in the clinic.

If you are awaiting the result of a PCR test, regardless if you have symptoms, we would ask that you delay your appointment until you receive a negative result.

If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 we would ask that you follow the advice given by NHS Test and Trace and delay your appointment until you have a negative PCR test or advised to resume face to face contact by NHS Test and Trace.

If you have been identified as clinically vulnerable, please do get in touch with us prior to your appointment. We can implement further measures such as enhanced cleaning, limited contact with non-clinical staff and enhanced PPE to ensure your comfort and safety.

If a member of your household develops any symptoms of Covid-19 or tests positive we would ask that you follow the advice of NHS Test and Trace and consider delaying your appointment until the information has been provided.

We would ask that you attend your appointment alone if at all possible unless accompanying a child or as a carer. Children under the age of 11 will not be asked to wear a mask whilst in the clinic building.

All toys in the building are cleaned thoroughly after each and every usage. If possible, we would ask that your child brings their own toys to play with whilst attending appointments.

All staff will wear appropriate PPE whilst working in clinic, this includes masks, disposable aprons and gloves in accordance with our risk assessment.

Our risk assessment can be requested to view and is available via reception.
If you would prefer a virtual or telephone appointment, please do let reception staff know at the time of booking and this can be arranged.

Thank you as always for your support, we will always put patients’ needs first and will aim to continue to do our utmost best to keep everyone safe and well.
